Under the Cretan sun, hike between white mountains, dramatic gorges, and turquoise coves. An exclusive itinerary combining hiking and seaside escapes, with the comfort of a trip designed for pure enjoyment.
A journey of mythology, authenticity, and breathtaking landscapes.
Between mountains and turquoise seas
Cradle of myths and legends, Crete is a land of contrasts where the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) plunge straight into the deep blue sea. Bordered by the Aegean to the north and the Libyan Sea to the south, the island is as captivating for its wild beauty as it is for its history. Fishing villages hidden in secret coves, dramatic gorges lined with pink oleanders, pristine beaches… the perfect setting to combine hiking and swimming.
This original itinerary takes you through Crete’s three most beautiful gorges – Aradena, Agia Irini, and Samaria – while leaving plenty of time to relax on the coast, with highlights such as the stunning Marmara Beach.
Designed to balance hiking and leisure, the trip also adds a touch of comfort: on two occasions, you’ll stay multiple nights in the same accommodation, while still enjoying the spirit of a true journey on foot.
A week of hiking and swimming in the heart of Crete, blending authenticity, mythology, and unforgettable landscapes.
Loutro – Charming car-free village, accessible only by sea or on foot. Enjoy peaceful evenings, narrow lanes, and fresh seafood by the water.
Samaria Gorge – A UNESCO-protected natural wonder and one of Europe’s longest gorges (16 km). Towering cliffs and narrow passages make it a must-see in Crete.
Sougia – Small, tranquil village with the ancient ruins of Lissos. A wide, unspoiled beach and authentic atmosphere, far from mass tourism.
Omalos Plateau – At 1,250 m above sea level, this plateau is the starting point for Samaria Gorge. Surrounded by imposing peaks, it’s a refreshing and legendary stop on the route.
