Framed by arid mountains and lush oases, the Valley of Roses is one of the most enchanting gems of southern Morocco. Nestled between Ouarzazate and the foothills of M’Goun, the valley owes its name to the thousands of Damask roses that bloom each spring, filling the air with delicate fragrances.
Dotted with earthen villages, irrigated gardens, and terraced fields, the valley offers landscapes with a poetic charm. The inhabitants maintain ancestral traditions tied to rose cultivation, producing renowned natural products such as floral waters, essences, soaps, and oils.
Every year, the famous Festival of Roses celebrates this iconic flower in a festive and joyful atmosphere filled with music, dancing, and local crafts.
