Nestled in the heart of Chamonix, France—the world’s mountaineering capital—I developed a love for the mountains at an early age. Following in my grandfather's footsteps as a guide, I began skiing even before I could walk and competed in cross-country races as a teen. Though I ventured south for my studies, earning a Master’s in Sport, Tourism, and Local Development, Chamonix has always been home, and no place else can compare.
With over 25 years of experience as an Alpine Ski Instructor and International Mountain Leader, I know the Chamonix ski areas and trails like the back of my hand. I began my career with the French Ski School in 1995, specializing in adaptive ski instruction, and have been guiding clients on hiking trails across the Alps since 1998 with the renowned Chamonix Guide Company. Trail running has allowed me to explore even more of the region and beyond, from Corsica’s GR 20 to the Swiss Alps and the hidden gems of France.
When I’m not leading mountain adventures, I lecture on mountain ecology and culture, preparing high school students for a future in guiding. With a deep understanding of the Alpine flora, fauna, geology, and traditions, I bring unique insights to every outing. A passionate trail runner and cyclist, the outdoors is more than a passion for me; it’s a way of life.

Seb is brilliant!!!
My family (party of 8) first met Seb as we attempted to hike the Haute Route in August 2017 - although we were all very active people, it was the first real week long route through the mountains so we needed a fair amount of guidance. He was fantastic! He gave us time to rest when we needed to, powered on when we had to, he was extremely knowledgable and was constantly telling us lots of interesting facts about the area!
We had great fun and on our last day there was an unexpected snow storm so Seb guided, not only us, but the all the guests staying in the mountain hut, safely down an a disused underground passage to the bottom!! Demonstrating his callibre as a guide!
We have also been on 2 ski holidays in Chamonix with Seb as a guide following our Summer trip and both have been brilliant!
